캐나다 공립대학 졸업후, 일할 수 있는 비자 (PGWP) 를 신청할 수 있는데요   :)

졸업 후 신청기간이 변경되었습니다.

2019년 2월 14일 IRCC(Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada)은 PGWP 신청 자격에 약간의 변경을 고시했는데요,

이번 조치로 졸업생들은 좀 더 여유있게 Work Permit 을 신청할 수 있게 되었습니다.

우선 PGWP  신청 시 유효한 Study Permit 을 소지하고 있어야 할 것이라는 조항을 삭제했고, 학업을 마친 후 종전 90일 일내 신청할 것이라는 조항을 180일 이내 신청할 것이라고 변경했습니다.

1. The removal of the requirement to hold a valid stduy permit when applying for a post-graduation work permit

2. The extension of the deadline to apply from 90 days to 6 months(180Days)

Within 180 days of the date of applying for the post-graduation work permit, applicants must also meet one of the following criteria

They hold a valid study permit

They held a study permit

They were authorized to study in Canada without the requirement to obtain a study pemit under paragraphs 188(1)(a) and (b) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations.

종전 PGWP  신청 후 거절을 받았을 경우 대부분 90일 이내 신청 할 것이라는 조항을 맞추지 못해 포기를 하거나 다시 학교를 등록했었던 졸업생들에게는 희소식이 아닐 수 없습니다.

새로운 가이드라인은 2019년 2월 14일 이후 접수분 부터 적용되며 2019년 2월14일 이전 접수하여 이전 가이드 라인을 기준으로 거절 통보를 받았을 경우 새로운 Application 을 작성하여 재신청해 보실 수 있습니다.
